This eerie, ghost-filled puzzle area isn’t your typical point-A-to-point-B dungeon. It’s a loop, a trap, and a test of patience all rolled into one. The good news? Once a player understands the firefly trick, the whole thing becomes a lot less of a headache — though it’s still no walk in the park.

Where Exactly Is The Mist? 🗺️

Players can reach The Mist surprisingly early. As soon as they unlock the ability to hop off walls — which happens in Act 1 — they’re good to go. From there, head to Greymoor’s Halfway Home and climb the ledge on the right side of the map. Keep going up until the area tops out, and that’s the entrance to Sinner’s Road. Don’t let the small size fool you; Sinner’s Road is deadly, and it’s easy to overlook the hidden passage near the ceiling at the top of the first vertical climb. Head all the way west through that passage, and bam — welcome to The Mist. 🌫️

It’s worth noting that The Mist is one of the only alternate routes into the Citadel that doesn’t involve kicking down the front door. It takes more traversal and a heck of a lot more secrecy, but for players who like to color outside the lines, it’s a refreshing change of pace.
